Nexxt Talents - Play with the best!

Our goal: to give young people a future. In sport and in society. At the very least, we want to make them an attractive offer that they accept with enthusiasm. We are convinced that promoting integration, socialization and teamwork are all crucial for successful participation in society. Together, we want to help young people between the ages of 10 and 18 to take this path and create equal opportunities for everyone from the outset. That is why we bring sport exactly where it is needed: to the hotspots.

The corner­stones of our program

Sports and leisure activities: Joint sporting and cultural activities help to build bridges between all sections of the population, provide mutual support, strengthen a sense of community and give people a sense of achievement.

Intercultural development: Our project helps to build understanding and respect for different cultures while supporting identity building.

Language promotion and development: Good language skills are often the key to integration. Through our project, young people gain language skills (team discussions), which can improve their chances in education and the job market.

Mentoring programs through training role models: Mentoring can help young people find their way in a new society and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Sports programs that hit the mark

We will initially pursue our four cornerstone approaches with our combined sports expertise in the sport of basketball and expand them to other sports at a later date.

Why sport? Why sport: Popular team sports such as basketball in particular offer the opportunity to promote social skills and teamwork in order to achieve common goals. What we offer: At our locations in Hanover, Braunschweig and Göttingen, we give young people the chance to play with the best. The coaches and trainers are professionals and welcome everyone who wants to take part in our program. This includes not only training, but also small tournaments in the “off-record league”, integration into local teams and leagues as well as equipment and material support.

As the initiator of "Nexxt Talents", MTB GmbH can rely on strong project partners. These include the basketball clubs Basketball Löwen Braunschweig, Hannover United and BG Göttingen. In addition to numerous Bundesliga players, basketball legend Dennis Schröder has also agreed to be our patron.

Die Basketball Löwen Braunschweig sind seit 1991 fester Bestandteil der easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga – der höchsten deutschen Basketball-Liga. #jungwildhungrig lautet das Credo der Löwen, die unter Gesellschafter und NBA-Spieler Dennis Schröder sowie Geschäftsführer Nils Mittmann stark auf die Entwicklung junger und talentierter Spieler setzen und in den vergangenen Saisons mit die jüngsten BBL-Teams gestellt haben. Die Club-Philosophie zeigte bereits nach kurzer Zeit Erfolge: Neben dem Erreichen des MagentaSport BBL Pokal TOP FOUR, das im Februar 2022 stattfand, hatten die Löwen in den vergangenen drei Jahren über 15 Nationalspieler in ihren Reihen. Vor allem die deutschen Spieler haben sich den Sprung in die Herren-Nationalmannschaft durch größere Verantwortung und Führungsrollen beim Braunschweiger Basketball-Bundesligisten erarbeitet. Ihren eingeschlagenen Weg setzen die Löwen-Verantwortlichen beharrlich fort: In der vergangenen Saison waren lediglich zwei Spieler des Profi-Teams älter als 25 Jahre, zudem waren acht von ihnen Nationalspieler.

Rollstuhlbasketball ist das spektakulärste Spiel auf Rädern. Schnell, akrobatisch, leidenschaftlich, kämpferisch und fair sind Attribute unserer attraktiven paralympischen Sportart. Es spielen Behinderte und Nichtbehinderte, Frauen und Männer aus verschiedenen Nationen in einem Team zusammen. Es gibt Sportangebote für alle Altersgruppen. Ein Team ist nur so gut wie das ganze Umfeld. Und hier wirkt die Hannover United Familie zusammen: Gemeinsam mit Engagement und Freude am sozialen Miteinander. Hannover United ist mit seiner 1. Mannschaft in der 1. Bundesliga erfolgreich aktiv und gehört zu den TOP-Teams in Deutschland. Spielerinnen und -spieler aus Hannover, Deutschland und der weiten Welt geben hier ihr Bestes genauso wie in ihren Nationalmannschaften. Attraktiver Spitzensport hat bei uns seine Heimat in Hannover.

Zweck des Vereins ist die Unterstützung karitativer Projekte für Kinder und Jugendliche. So werden Kinderkrebsstationen mit finanziellen Mitteln oder Sachgegenständen wie Spielzeug, Einrichtungsgegenständen oder medizinischen Geräten unterstützt werden oder Kinderfeste an diesen Orten organisiert werden. Der Satzungszweck wird insbesondere durch Spenden, Mitgliedsbeiträge bzw. anderweitiger Einnahmen oder durch die Organisation von Fortbildungsmaßnahmen für Basketballtrainer, Basketballturniere, -camps oder anderer Veranstaltungen zu Gunsten dieser Projekte erfüllt. Somit werden die anstehenden Projekte mit Hilfe des Basketballs gefördert und realisiert.

Die BG Göttingen ist ein professioneller Basketball-Klub aus Südniedersachsen. Das Team stieg 2007 zum ersten Mal in der Klubgeschichte in die erste Liga auf und krönte erfolgreiche Jahre mit dem Sieg der EuroChallenge 2010. Nach dem Abstieg in die zweite Liga 2012 gelang den Göttingern 2014 der Wiederaufstieg – seitdem ist die Mannschaft erstklassig. Der Verein legt großen Wert auf die Nachwuchsarbeit – organisiert Projekte in Grundschulen sowie mit anderen Vereinen in der Region und bietet regelmäßig Camps an. Im Leistungsnachwuchsbereich gehen die Sartorius Juniors in der NBBL (U19) an den Start, die Sartorius Youngsters in der JBBL (U16). Die zweite Mannschaft der BG Göttingen spielt in der zweiten Regionalliga und bietet Talenten die Möglichkeit, im Männerbereich Erfahrung zu sammeln.

Who run the world? Girls!

Bei allem was wir tun, wollen wir Vorbild für junge Menschen sein, die Wahrnehmung von Frauensport nachhaltig verändern und ihnen konkret zeigen, dass es in der Stadt & Region Hannover möglich ist eine professionelle Sportlerin zu werden. Dazu versuchen wir nicht nur möglichst erfolgreich Basketball zu spielen, mit 2 Pokalsiegen in den beiden vergangenen Spielzeiten funktioniert das auch ganz gut, sondern gehen aktiv an Schulen, veranstalten Basketballturniere für Grundschulkids in der Stadt & Region Hannover und sind sportliche Heimat für über 300 Mädchen und Frauen in unserem Verein, dem Turn-Klubb zu Hannover (8.600 Mitglieder).

In everything we do, we want to be a role model for young people, change the perception of women's sport in the long term and show them in concrete terms that it is possible to become a professional sportswoman in the city and region of Hanover. To achieve this, we not only try to play basketball as successfully as possible - with two cup wins in the last two seasons, this has worked quite well - but we also actively visit schools, organise basketball tournaments for primary school children in the city and region of Hanover and are the sporting home for over 300 girls and women in our club, the Turn-Klubb zu Hannover (8,600 members).

The purpose of the organisation is to support charitable projects for children and young people. For example, children's cancer wards are supported with financial means or material goods such as toys, furnishings or medical equipment, or children's parties are organised at these locations. The purpose of the statutes is fulfilled in particular through donations, membership fees or other income or through the organisation of further training measures for basketball coaches, basketball tournaments, camps or other events for the benefit of these projects. In this way, the upcoming projects are supported and realised with the help of basketball.

BG Göttingen is a professional basketball club from southern Lower Saxony. The team was promoted to the first division for the first time in the club's history in 2007 and crowned its successful years by winning the EuroChallenge in 2010. After being relegated to the second division in 2012, the team from Göttingen was promoted again in 2014 and has been in the first division ever since. The club attaches great importance to youth development - organising projects in primary schools and with other clubs in the region and regularly offering camps. The Sartorius Juniors compete in the NBBL (U19) and the Sartorius Youngsters in the JBBL (U16). BG Göttingen's second team plays in the second regional league and offers talented players the opportunity to gain experience in the men's game.

Wheelchair basketball is the most spectacular game on wheels. Fast, acrobatic, passionate, combative and fair are all attributes of our attractive Paralympic sport. Disabled and non-disabled people, women and men from different nations play together in one team. There are sports programmes for all age groups. A team is only as good as the whole environment. And this is where the Hannover United family works together: Together with commitment and enjoyment of social interaction. Hannover United and its 1st team are successful in the 1st Bundesliga and are one of the top teams in Germany. Players from Hannover, Germany and the rest of the world give their best here as well as in their national teams. Attractive top-class sport has its home in Hanover.

Basketball Löwen Braunschweig has been an integral part of the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga - Germany's top basketball league - since 1991. The Löwen's credo is #jungwildhungrig. Under shareholder and NBA player Dennis Schröder and Managing Director Nils Mittmann, the Löwen have focussed heavily on the development of young and talented players and have been one of the youngest BBL teams in recent seasons. The club's philosophy quickly proved successful: In addition to reaching the MagentaSport BBL Cup TOP FOUR, which took place in February 2022, the Lions have had more than 15 international players in their ranks over the past three years. The German players in particular have earned their way into the men's national team by taking on greater responsibility and leadership roles at the Bundesliga club from Braunschweig. Those responsible for the Lions are persistently pursuing their chosen path: Last season, only two players in the professional team were older than 25, and eight of them were also national players.

HC Eintracht Hildesheim ist ein Verein mit Herz, Haltung und großer Tradition. Seit über 100 Jahren prägt er den Handballsport in der Region – mit mehrfachen Bundesliga-Aufstiegen, einer starken Jugendarbeit und einer treuen Fangemeinschaft.

HC Eintracht Hildesheim is a club with heart, attitude and a great tradition. It has been shaping handball in the region for over 100 years - with multiple Bundesliga promotions, strong youth work and a loyal fan base.

The 1st men's team is fighting for promotion in the 3rd league, supported by a committed environment and home games in the Volksbank Arena. Promoting young talent, club life and sporting ambition are inseparable at Eintracht - for Hildesheim, for sport, for the future.
